Winged butterfly needle with a flexible catheter and Luer adapter
allows to successfully obtaining a blood draw from complicated
patients. Such blood-sampling systems are particularly suitable for
use in pediatrics, veterinary medicine, and intensive care units.
The protective mechanism guarantees one-time use and prevents the
risk of injection by personnel.
Products are supplied in multiple packs of 100 psc. The packaging is
not allow to disclosure until it will be to the end user.
The needles are made by order of IntervacTechnology at the partner
factory.
Wings of the blood collection set (also called “Butterfly needle”)
provide added grip and help perform successful venipuncture.
Due to tube flexibility, the needle doesn’t move around during the
procedure, minimizing the risk of mechanical damage to the vessel
wall.
Butterfly needle sizes correspond to the regular needle sizes and
are color coded. Each butterfly needle is silicone-treated, sterile,
comes in an individual sterile pack, and is intended for a single
use.
