Vacuum blood collection tubes with ACD anti-coagulant allow to
determine blood group and to preserve erythrocytes.
Range of application: immunology, transfusions, blood banks.
The anti-coagulant ACD (Acid citrate dextrose) is used for
determining blood group, immunologic research and for preservation
of erythrocytes.
ACD anti-coagulant exists in two forms: A and B, which differ in
concentration of the solution.
The volume ratio of blood and additive:
15 ml ACD-A solution per 100 ml of blood
25 ml ACD-B solution per 100 ml of blood
Once the specimen is collected, gently invert the tube 3-5 times to
mix adequately.
